Partner program terms

1. Commission

Unless overridden in writing for your account, you earn 10% of net applied spend from each referred organization for its first 12 months on the platform. Net applied spend means campaign daily charges and ad creation charges, minus refunds, delivery credits, and dispute clawbacks that reverse prior spend.

Commissions accrue only while the referred organization is within its commission window and your account is active. Agency workspaces (license, creative-build invoices, and pass-through media) are not commissionable under this program. Refer advertisers who buy from us directly.

2. Attribution

• Attribution is first-touch. The first valid referral cookie wins for 90 days.
• When someone signs up and creates their Individual organization, we stamp the referral once.
• Your link looks like https://waverunner.adwave.com/a/your-code. Optional sub tags track which post or channel drove the click.
• Self-referrals are ignored.

3. FTC disclosure (required)

US law requires clear disclosure when you share a link that pays you. Wherever you promote your referral link, you must disclose the relationship conspicuously before the link or recommendation.

Approved short disclosure (adapt as needed):

Disclosure: I earn a commission if you sign up for Adwave through my link.

Do not bury the disclosure in a hashtag pile, link-shortener landing page, or terms footer alone.

4. Hold period and payouts

• Commissions enter a 30-day hold after accrual so refunds and chargebacks can settle. After the hold they become payable.
• Payouts run monthly when your payable balance is at least $50.
• Payouts require Stripe Connect onboarding with a valid US payout destination. US partners only at launch.
• Your first payout may be held for manual review before release.
• US affiliates who meet IRS thresholds receive Form 1099-NEC via Stripe's tax reporting. You are responsible for your own tax obligations.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Self-referral. You may not refer yourself, an organization you control, or accounts created solely to generate commission.
• Trademark bidding. No paid search ads on Adwave, Adwave, Wavemaker, or confusingly similar brand terms.
• Spam and misrepresentation. No unsolicited bulk email, fake endorsements, or claims we have not approved in writing.
• MLM / sub-affiliates. You may not recruit sub-affiliates or earn on anyone else's referrals.

6. Clawbacks and suspension

If a referred charge is refunded, credited back, or disputed, the related commission is reversed. Fraud, policy violations, or chargeback patterns may result in suspension, voided commissions, or termination.

We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time. On termination, pending commissions may be voided. Payable balances already earned may still pay out subject to review.

7. Privacy

Participation is subject to the Privacy Policy. The dashboard shows referral performance, not personal data about the people you send.
